Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Givingring, operated by FiF Innovations, LLC. By creating an account or using Givingring, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Givingring, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and agree to these Terms, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using Givingring on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Givingring is a social platform that allows users to track Quality of Life scores, connect with friends, create fundraising campaigns, and record peer-to-peer payment activity for the purpose of calculating Generosity Scores. Givingring does not process payments — all financial transactions occur off-platform through third-party payment applications. Givingring serves only as a trust ledger for confirmed payment records.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payment Records and Generosity Scores

Givingring's payment tracking system is a trust ledger only. When you log a payment, you represent that you have sent or intend to send the stated amount through a third-party payment app. When you confirm a payment, you represent that you actually received the stated amount. Submitting false payment records or confirmations to inflate Generosity Scores is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension. FiF Innovations reserves the right to investigate suspected fraud and remove fraudulent records.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Givingring (posts, photos, videos, campaign descriptions). By posting content, you grant FiF Innovations a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute that content as part of operating the platform. You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) submit false payment records or confirmations; (b) harass, threaten, or harm other users; (c) use the platform to solicit money under false pretenses; (d) attempt to access other users' accounts without authorization; (e) scrape or harvest user data; (f) use automated tools to interact with the platform; (g) violate any applicable laws or regulations.

7. Campaigns and Fundraising

Users may create fundraising campaigns to receive support from their network. Campaign creators are responsible for accurately representing their needs and for using funds received for the stated purpose. FiF Innovations does not verify campaign claims and is not responsible for how campaign funds are used. Campaigns that are fraudulent or misleading will be removed and the associated account may be suspended.

8. Disclaimers

Givingring is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. FiF Innovations does not guarantee the accuracy of Generosity Scores or QoL scores, the completion of any payment, or the availability of the platform at any given time. We are not responsible for disputes between users regarding payments or campaign contributions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FiF Innovations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Givingring. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use Givingring ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FiF Innovations, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of Givingring after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
